CARING

Issuance: Monthly
Editorial Content
CARING is a nationally distributed, monthly magazine targeted for
executives and managers of home care and hospice services. Each issue
focuses on a specific topic, such as ethical concerns or paraprofessional
services, and offers feature articles such as an agency profile or a discussion
of how a particular issue touches one segment of the industry. Each month
the magazine includes two or more departments that explore additional
timely topics, such as management and legal issues or research and development.
Readership Profile
CARING is sent on a subscription and member benefit basis to home
care providers-home health care agencies, home care aide organizations,
hospitals, hospices, state and county health departments-as well as legislators,
schools of medicine and nursing, and students.
CARING's readership is comprised of executive management,
financial and legal specialists, supervisors, direct caregivers, academic
institutions, and policy makers. Surveys have found that for every subscriber
who receives CARING, an additional 10 people read that issue.
